  Due to the fact that a new set of ARMs (Adjustable Rate Mortgage) are about to come due,  we are about to be hit with a wave of more Short Sales and foreclosures.  This will result in driving prices down a little more and of course have a trickle down effect on other industries as well.   However, Texas is still the best State in the Union to live.  We have less Short Sales and Foreclosures than any other State in the Country.  We have the best employment rate as well.  So give thanks for living in Texas and let's help our neighbors as must as possible to keep their homes.

  I am frequently being asked if this is a good time to buy.   My answer is YES. It is one of the best times in history to buy.  I know that some investors and speculators are always waiting for the market to bottom, but the problem with that theory is that you never know when it will bottom, no one does.  So wether you are a first time home buyer or an investor, now is a great time to buy.

     Others have said to me, that they would like to sell and move up but they can't get what they think their home is worth.   But you need to remember that you may sell for lest than you would have 4 years ago, but you will buy for less also.   So your equity will go just as far now as it would have then.
